Darryl Leniuk is a photographer and journalist specializing in storytelling and imagery for the adventure sports, travel and outdoor tourism markets. His powerful stories engage the viewer and his photography has been widely used in advertising campaigns around the world. As a recognized adventure tourism expert, he has written a travel column for The Globe & Mail, Canada’s national newspaper. Darryl is a professional member of the Travel Media Association of Canada (TMAC).
He has recently started a boutique Marketing and Public Relations agency, Aventur Marketing, to serve the needs of premium outdoor tourism providers. His years of experience and deep knowledge of the industry have made him a go to resource for tourism businesses and outdoor brands seeking exceptional growth.
When he’s not busy working he can be found pursuing his passions: adventure travel, scuba diving, mountain biking, backcountry skiing, rock climbing and sea kayaking, often lugging along large amounts of camera gear ‘just in case.’
Darryl lives in Vancouver, British Columbia, with his wife Claudia, and young children Vincent and Valerie, who share his love for adventure.
